The Granby Board of Trustees sets the priorities and strategic direction for the town.
I’ve listened, and your input is clear: you want something different from this Board and the Town Manager.
I will do better because YOU deserve more.
More economic opportunities driven by employees who trust appropriate housing and quality child care is available.
More focus on public safety; you deserve to know that law enforcement is committed to community policing, timely response, and living and working in our town.
More fiscal stewardship with an appropriate plan for leveraging our strong financial position while delivering development review reforms and zoning changes.
This campaign is all about YOU.
I am committed to supporting this community that I love.
I have an MBA from the University of Denver and am completing my Executive Certificate in Affordable Housing.
I worked for a Fortune 500 - Top 50 company in Customer Business Development.
I worked as Controller and Risk Manager for a local non-profit managing a $15 million budget.
I dedicated my career to serving Granby residents, businesses, and visitors.
Granby is our home and has been for almost two decades. We love our connection with Kremmling where our two oldest children thrive. And Granby, where we raised our 3 boys, and where my heart lives.

What needs to be done on Day 1

What needs to be done on Day 1 *
SHARE the work of the town with our residents proactively and transparently.
Provide the current Housing Needs Assessment survey.
Input is critical, and we should return to posting the actual agenda on social media for the Granby Board of Trustees and the Planning Commission meetings.
Acknowledge resident and business feedback and clearly communicate what the Board’s priorities are.
EDUCATE our businesses and residents on the housing continuum in Granby. Give people tools and confidence to make a purchase decision.
Did you know an employee making $51,000 per year will now have options for renting or purchasing a home?
Did you know there are 4 ways that an individual can get assistance with a down payment that DO NOT involve the Town paying the funds?
Did you know there are homeowner education classes that can be hosted on-line or in person that share more about the homebuying process?
LISTEN and LEARN.
Reach out to the diverse developer community to identify ways the town can comply with funding mandates and can streamline the project approval process for new or improved construction.
We have two different business advocacy organizations supporting Granby. A 30- second update from these groups twice a month is not enough to give these businesses a voice.
Create a homeowners round table of realtors, potential homeowners, employers, and advocacy groups such as Grand County Veterans Affairs.
Identify home- and center- based child care options to include needed zoning changes and potential partnerships that expand quality childcare in Granby. We should NEVER be too busy to find ways to support children and families!
This campaign is NOT about standing aside, it is for standing up for our residents and businesses.
A friend said it was brave of me to step up and become a target for those whose intentions are unclear.
What was brave was to say nothing for the last 9 months while others question my actions and my good work. Staying quiet also allowed someone else’s version of events to speak for me.
To be clear. I did not lie; I fought for the workers and families of Granby who deserve a quality home.
Use your vote to to take a stand.
Disagreements are a part of, and perhaps the best aspect, of good governance. Discrimination, defamation, and deflection are not.
You deserve a local government that empowers people to ask difficult questions, challenge decisions, and move in a direction that benefits you, your businesses, and your families.
I am proud of my contribution to Granby, and I’m ready to keep working for you.
